I keep getting vaginal infections. I don't believe that my husband would be having sex outside of the marriage, and I am not either but it is making things really difficult because we are starting not to believe each other. I was sexually assaulted a few years ago but got treatment. Could something from the assault be coming back?

Talk to your doctor. Some vaginal infections are not sexually transmitted diseases e.g. vaginal yeast infections (candidiasis) and Bacterial Vaginosis (BV). Other diseases like Syphilis, Gonorrhoea (GC) and chlamydia are sexually transmitted. Both you and your husband may require treatment for these infections; otherwise you could keep re-infecting each other.
