Our Hours
Emergency Service: 24 hours, 7 days a week through the Emergency Department.
Office: Monday – Friday  8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Counselling and Domestic Violence nurse followup: By appointment.
Who We See
  • All ages, females and males.
What We Do Domestic Violence
  • Medical treatment.
  • Photographic documentation of injuries.
  • Documentation of injuries.
  • Risk assessment and safety planning.
  • Follow-up care by the domestic violence nurse.
  • Referral to community agencies.
Sexual Assault
  • Collecting and recording evidence of the assault.
  • Free antibiotics and the morning after pill.
  • Medical care and treatment.
  • Testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections.
  • Testing, information and counselling for possible pregnancy.
Safe Kids
  • Medical assessment of children suspected of being sexually abused or assaulted.
  • Medical examination, forensic evidence collection as needed and follow up.
  • Referral to community agencies.
  • Counselling for children and their caregiver(s).
Physical Access
  • Accessible for people with disablities.
  • Emergency entrance wheelchair accessible.

  • English.
  • Interpreters available in multiple languages.

  • Public awareness presentations to community partners, schools, etc.
