Our Hours
Emergency Service: 24 hours, 7 days a week through the Urgent Care Centre At Women's College Hospital.
Office: Monday – Friday  9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.  Located at Women's College Hospital main floor.
Counselling and Follow-up Clinic: By appointment.
Mobile Emergency Service: 24 hours/7 days a week through The Emergency Department at Mount Sinai Hospital, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and St. Joseph's Health Centre.
Who We See
  • Female, male and trans youth and adults 14 years of age and older, who have experienced a recent sexual assault or intimate partner violence.
  • LGBTTQQ positive space.
What We Do
  • 24 hour nursing response through urgent care centre/emergency department.
  • Crisis intervention and support.
  • Assessment and documentation of injuries (written or photographs).
  • Physician referrals if necessary.
  • Medications to decrease the risk of contracting sexually transmitted infections (STI), including HIV.
  • Morning after pill to decrease the risk of pregnancy.
  • Forensic evidence collection.
  • Referral to community agencies.
  • Safety planning.
  • Short term counselling up to 20 sessions.
  • English.
  • Interpreters available through Multilingual Community Interpreting Services.
Other Information
  • It is not necessary to have police involvement to use our services.
  • Medication for STI and pregnancy prevention is free.
  • Services are confidential within the limits of the law.
