This section is for you. It's a way to express your feelings and share your experiences. People have requested a place on the site where they can find hope and support, so we encourage submitting poems that will help provide a better understanding of sexual assault reactions, as well as providing hope to the survivors still struggling with their feelings.

The Sexual Assault Care Centre staff will review all submissions as part of the selection process. Please do not give out any information that would help anyone identify or locate you. Use a nickname or initials when signing your poem. All reference to your location and identity will be deleted.

Now it’s time I
take it back,
to do something

move on and

now its time for
my life to start
fresh.
