Our Hours
Emergency Service: 24 hours, 7 days a week through the Emergency Department.
Office: Monday – Friday  9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Counselling and Follow-up Clinic: By appointment.
Who We See
  • Male and female youth and adults 12 years of age and older, who have experienced a recent sexual assault.
  • Youth and adults 16 years of age and older who have experienced a recent domestic violence.
What We Do Domestic Violence
  • 24 hour nursing response through emergency department.
  • Documentation, including photography for legal evidence if required.
  • Referral to community agencies.
  • Safety planning.
Sexual Assault
  • Collection of legal and medical evidence at request of victim.
  • Emergency medical treatment.
  • Give medication to prevent sexually transmitted diseases or pregnancy.
  • Short term counselling for victims, including children, families and friends.
Physical Access
  • Braille and tone elevator with lowered buttons.
  • Designated parking.
  • Emergency entrance wheelchair accessible.
  • Special accessible examination table and shower.
Languages
  • English.
  • American Sign Language.
  • Interpreters available in multiple languages.
  • Tamil (Counselling).
  • Mandarin, Cantonese (Counselling).
Other Information
  • It is not necessary to have police involvement to use our services.
  • Medication for STD and pregnancy prevention is free.
  • Services are confidential within the limits of the law.
